With the all-time favorite 2-Series, Samsung has been ruling the tech world for many years. The Galaxy Note series was initially targeted at buyers who want a multitasking device primarily for work. The S Pen was and continues to be the defining feature of the Galaxy Note line compared to the Galaxy S models. Samsung has recently launched the latest generation of Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+. Let’s see what’s inside the new launch……..

The Galaxy Note 10+ is priced at INR 47,999 on Amazon

This device packs a powerful processor, infinity –o display, and improved S pen functionality.

With great model design and display device’s battery life is really good. While the other S series had their cameras holes in one corner, on the Note 10+ it is right in the centre, at the top of the display.

Microphones are been positioned on the top along with dual-hybrid SIM tray. At the bottom it has primary microphones, USB Type-c port, loudspeaker grille, and the S pen silo.

The device has quad-camera at the back, out of which three sensors are placed in a single module and the fourth sensor is next to it along with an LED flash.

The primary rear camera has a 12-megapixel sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4, Super Speed Dual Pixel AutoFocus, and optical image stabilization (OIS).

Next is a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, an f/2.2 aperture, and a 123-degree field of view.

The third camera has a 12-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens capable of 2X optical zoom. The Depth Vision camera is capable of scanning objects in 3D. The hole in the display houses a 10-megapixel selfie camera with Dual Pixel Autofocus.

Talking about the software then, this is an upgrade over the Exynos 9820 which was used for the Galaxy S10 series. The Exynos 9825 is an octa-core processor based on a 7nm process with two custom cores clocked at 2.7GHz, two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.9GHz.

The S Pen has been rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. The charger supplied with the device is rated at 25W though the phone supports fast-charging up to 45W and has a USB Type-C port.

The device gets 12GB of RAM, and you get to choose between 256GB AND 512GB of internal storage, with you can use a microSD card to add up to 1TB more space.

There’s Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and support for four satellite navigation systems. Upgrade ofd 4,300Mah battery in its predecessor, the Note 9 has 4,000mAH.

It has picked a huge 6.8-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution for this device. Resolution is switchable and is set to full HD+ by default, but you can lower it all the way to HD+. This super AMOLED panel is also HDR10+ certified.

What Works & What Doesn’t

If you are fond of curves then this is the best option for you beautifully designed display curves on the sides whereas the back of the phone is also made of glass which curves on the side giving the whole model a smooth finish and elegant look. This design makes the phone very comfortable and handy. Yes, you’re going to want a case. It’s a smudge magnet you’ll need to constantly clean the phone.

It has a metal frame in between these glass panels and is quite thin. Surprisingly this time the right side of the device is completely smooth and bare whereas all functional buttons have been adorned on the left side which initially we feel odd. Samsung has paired this display with stereo speakers. The earpiece doubles up as the second speaker. It isn’t as loud as the bottom ones, but the two together rocks your world.

The Galaxy Note 10+ is currently the best smartphone of Samsung in India, and it is the company’s new flagship. While this smartphone’s design might be a little boxy, it packs in a stunning display, versatile cameras, and lots of software enhancements. Great device with no complaints yet, graphic designers and tech enthusiasts can consider it. For students it is not really preferable, they can go for low-budget S series. But you might get better products from Apple at a low cost. If you love experiencing new gadgets then go for it!
