The Premier League starts off with 9th placed Wolves taking on 8th placed Crystal Palace at Molineux. Then, Man City travel to Bramall Lane for their game against Sheffield United. They will be looking to build a consistent run of form from this game. Chelsea travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley whereas Champions Liverpool will try to best an in-form West Ham side. Sunday starts off with Villa taking on Southampton and Everton going away to Newcastle. The week ends off with it’s best game, Manchester United v Arsenal. Although both teams have had inconsistent starts to the season, It will be a fierce encounter nonetheless. Arsenal will be looking to new signing, Thomas Partey, to hit the ground running hard. Ole’s side United will be looking to build on their form after a 5-0 demolition of RB Leipzig midweek.
Italy’s top flight football kicks off with Crotone hosting Atalanta at home. It follows with Inter taking on Parma at 10:30 PM. High-flying AC Milan take on Udinese while champions Juventus travel to Spezia. 19th placed Torino will be looking to get their first win against Lazio but it won’t be an easy task. 2nd placed Napoli will be looking to go to the top of the table with a win against Sassuolo. Fierce rivals Roma take on Fiorentina in the battle of the cities. The gameweek ends with Sampdoria v Genoa.
Spain’s first division football starts with Eibar taking on Cadiz Saturday at 1:30 AM. Then, Real Madrid get a chance to jump to the top of the table if they win against SD Huesca. A cracker of a game follows, with Sevilla travelling to Bilbao to take on Athletic Club. Saturday’s games end with Atletico travelling to Estadio El Sadar to take on Osasuna. Barcelona begin a new era after the entirety of it’s board stepped down. They go up against an inconsistent Alaves side. Then, table toppers Real Sociedad take on Celta vigo away. The weekend’s final game is 3rd place Valencia v Getafe.
Schalke kick off the Bundesliga against Stuttgart in the VELTINS Arena. The two fallen giants of German football face off for the first time after Stuttgart’s promotion back into the top flight. Then, Dortmund travel away to Bleifeld in a game they are expected to win. Although Augsburg may have been dropping out of form of late, they should be able to win against Mainz, who have lost all 5 of their league games. Champions Bayern Munich take on Koln away at Cologne. Leipzig will be looking to keep their heads held high in the league after a humbling 5-0 defeat to Man United midweek. But they have a tough task ahead of them in facing Monchengladbach, who are unbeaten in their last 5 games. There are only 2 Bundesliga games on Sunday, with Freiburg taking on Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin taking on Wolfsburg.
