As more and more phones come out without a headphone jack, it is more important than ever to have a set of bluetooth headsets. Do not worry, they are not as expensive as you may think! Today, we are going to look at boAt’s Rockerz 510 headset and how it fares when compared to other headsets.
Design and Feel
The boAt Rockerz 510 looks ultra-modernist and would not feel out of place in a gamer’s setup. However, it also incorporates a minimalist design and looks pretty inconspicuous. Basically, it gives you the best of both worlds. The headset comes in four colors : Jazzy Blue, Raging Red, Molten Orange and Viper Green. All follow the same black base colour which provides contrast. It comes with pads on top and near both speakers. There is a USB type-B charger as well as a small LED to let you know if the headset is on, and also to let you know if it’s charging.
Sound Quality and Performance
Boat headsets have been around for quite a while now, and they always deliver the best in class sound quality for the price. The sound is loud, clear, and powerful, as one expects from this company. The bass does not feel overpowering, as it does on most headsets of this price bracket.
The company claims that the boAt Rockerz 510 offers 20 hours of playback time on a full charge. That claim seems to be true. The longevity on this headset is amazing. It can also be charged to 100% in 2.5 hours.
The boAt Rockerz 510 starts at Rs. 1,799. It comes with a one year warranty. In my opinion, it is very good value for money. The only real competitors at this price bracket are the JBL Infinity Glide 510 and the Firebolt Blast 1300. Boat also has the best customer support of all headset manufacturers across India.
